For over two decades, South Park has invited us to touch roughly friends of theirs: everyone from AWESOM-O to 'Tom Cruise' have headed to Colorado for a drug of timely and ofttimes controversial capers.
Just which are the best Southerly Park episodes? The ones that have stood the test of time, etched themselves into the minds of millions, and inexpertly crowbarred their way into our hearts? It's a uncomfortable one to ponder, especially bestowed the show is now 23 seasons and over 300 episodes deep.
But we've done it. After arguments galore and more than one somebody willing to pull from the Scott Tenorman playbook, we've settled along a list of the essentials: the 25 unsurpassed South Park episodes that skewer and slice contemporaneous culture in their own inimitable fashion. 25. "Casa Bonita" (season 7, episode 11)
Kyle invites Stan, Kenny and Butters to Casa Bonita, a Mexican-themed eating house in South Park. Cartman is livid for being left out and turns along the becharm, which leads to Kyle suggesting that, if Butters can't accept some reason, Cartman fundament take his direct. What makes this episode thus funny is the lengths Cartman is inclined to perish to get what he wants. If Terzetto Parker calls this instalment one of his favourite, it is definitely good for us.
24. "Grounded Vindaloop" (season 18, episode 7)
South Park oft mines technology for laughs, and "Grounded Vindaloop" does so almost perfectly. The instalment riffs on call center employees, the Matrix, so much much. Better yet, it centres connected one of the high-grade relationships on the show: Cartman messing with Butters until he takes it too furthermost.
Butters' breaking each the VR 'rules' is uproarious, As is the endlessly annoying call center employee, Steve. Withal, information technology's the twist ending (which we South Korean won't spoil present) that sets it apart from some of the former tech-based episodes. 23. "Coon vs. Coon and Friends" (season 14, episode 13)

That personality defect soars to unused heights in "Coon vs. Coon and Friends" as he enlists the wrath of Cthulu to battle his friends. It's a construct that would be built upon in Southwestward Park: The Fractured But Whole but, arguably, it was done even better here As Cartman and Cthulu's buddy-buddy partnership sees them take down several easy targets, including the Aflame Human being Fete and, hilariously, the Total Foods chain of supermarkets.
While the episode treads familiar territory, skewering the likes of Justin Bieber and LeBron James, IT's the weird and grand closing that will stick in your memory. Kenny, as hooded vigilance man Mysterion, proves He has immortality once and for all – and the depict lastly let's us in on a dismal secret: every time Kenny dies, his father becomes pregnant with a new Kenny. Gross… and a trifle bit genius.
22. "Fishsticks" (time of year 13, episode 5)
South Park has forever been brilliant at lampooning celebrities, and "Fishsticks" does an first-class job of mocking Kanye West.
In the instalment, Jimmy comes up with a gag. Naturally, everyone in South Park finds this hilarious and Cartman tries to steal credit for the unit thing. As the joke becomes a worldwide phenomenon, the only person World Health Organization doesn't understand the punchline is Kanye W, who becomes increasingly desperate to know why everyone is laughing at him. After he crashed Taylor Swift's acceptation spoken language at the 2009 MTV Awards, Comedy Central played the episode four times bet on to back.
21. "Run along God Go" (season 10, episode 12)
Technically this is a two-part episode, but "Go God Go" and "Go God Go Twelve" are invigorating watched for anyone WHO has of all time put a voluminous question mark in the religious belief column. Cartman attempts to freeze himself to reach the three week wait for the Nintendo Wii tolerable, but ends up emerging in the year 2546. There's also an incredible sub-plot featuring Richard Dawkins serving Mrs.. Garrison teach evolutionary biological science (resulting in a passionate affaire). By the end of "Go God Go Dozen" you're left curious whether Cartman is stuck in a time loop, doomed to restate his mistakes for all eternity.
20. "Guitar Pansy-O" (season 11, episode 13)
Parker and Stone couldn't stand fetching a pop at Guitar Hero just atomic number 3 the world became enthralled by the video game series. Watching Butters eventually tangle Cartman's unconscious weight back to the civilize bus helps put this onto our choice for the best South Park episodes.
16. "Best Friends Forever" (season 9, sequence 4)
Trey Charlie Parker and Matte Gemstone often work on episodes until the last come-at-able moment sol the show can be as well timed as possible. Their tactics worked to withering (and tragic) effect in "Best Friends Forever", which sees Kenny get along addicted to the then spick-and-span PSP until, typically, he dies. After a conversation with Deity, Kenny gets brought back to life sentence and set down on life-support system. The media frenzy around the case then grows and grows American Samoa Kenny's legal guardians argue for his ripe to die.
